New adult social care platform wins funding from London Office of Technology and Innovation

Published: 30 March 2023

The project, led by two London boroughs, will develop a data platform to help frontline adult social care workers.

We’re thrilled to learn that a project led by the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham, with Social Finance as partner, is one of two awarded £100,000 in funding by the London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI) as part of the LOTI Adult Social Care Innovation Fund.

The idea behind our project is to develop a multi-agency data platform that equips frontline workers with better information about residents they work with. The project will develop and test a prototype digital solution that builds on a similar tool, Family Context, which is used in children’s services.

In the short term, the projects will produce useful lessons for the LOTI community. In the medium term, they will be a foundation stone for unlocking new opportunities for designing new, more cross-sector collaborative services. Each project is expected to last for up to 12 months, with regular updates shared with the LOTI community.
