Aarthi Ravishankar
Aarthi is a medical doctor by background, specifically a GP with an additional interest in paediatrics and adolescent health. She completed her clinical training working across the NHS system in primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare. In 2022, Aarthi completed the prestigious Darzi Fellowship scheme, a systems leadership programme designed for clinicians.
Before joining Social Finance, Aarthi held diverse leadership roles in North-West London while working as a salaried GP. Notably, she served as the Clinical Adolescent Improvement Lead at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. In this role, she spearheaded the development of the NEON project in collaboration with local youth-worker charities, introducing a new integrated care model to address health inequities for 16–24 year olds admitted to adult wards.
She also worked as a Fellow in the Strategy, Research and Innovation Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust collaborating with system partners to develop various integrated care delivery methods, using data to identify patients at high risk of health inequity.
