Emily founded and leads the Impact Incubator a collaboration with foundations to develop systemic solutions to entrenched social problems.

Emily joined Social Finance in November 2008 and led the development of the first Social Impact Bond in Peterborough. She has been working at the intersection of business and social change for over a decade. Prior to joining Social Finance, Emily worked at REDF, a venture philanthropy fund is San Francisco with a mission to create jobs for people with the greatest barriers to work. Emily started her career as a strategy consultant. Emily has a BA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from Berkeley where she was a merit scholar.
