Spectra is a multidisciplinarysocial impact company based in Wolverhampton. It works at the intersection of the private, public, and charitable sectors, tackling significant social challenges.
Spectra’s roots are in supporting young people through restorative practice. The company’s services span social impact, diversity, and inclusion (D&I) consulting, talent development for underrepresented communities, and public sector programme delivery.
In 2018, Spectra became the national delivery partner for the Department for Education’s Care Leaver Covenant programme, working with more than 500 organisations nationwide to connect care leavers with exclusive opportunities in education, work, wellbeing, money, and their homes. In October 2023, his team led the most extensive out-of-home campaign in 19 cities and towns that generated 40 million views and included a building light-up activation featuring the London Eye, Blackpool Tower, and St. Michaels Mount.
In 2022, Matthew launched Twenty Five/7, a talent agency aiming to break the cycle of disadvantage among underrepresented groups. In 2023, Matthew, executive produced a short indie film screened at the London Film Festival entitled Independence.
Matthew enjoys travelling, collecting art, and spending time with family.
