Nadine Smith
She joined Social Finance in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience in public engagement, trust building and transforming services to work for everyone.
Nadine spent the majority of her career working in and around government seeking answers to complex challenges, at the forefront of crisis response and understanding how to listen and learn better from her time serving several public inquiries. She worked at the Cabinet Office as Head of Strategic Campaigns and Chief Press Officer and led work on social mobility, social exclusion and public health.
She was a founding director of Communications at the Institute for Government and a former Director of the Centre for Public Impact where she founded the UK charity. She has a particular interest in building empathic and inclusive listening spaces that enable people to feel empowered.
