Tara Rowe-Smith

Tara joined Social Finance in 2017 and has worked in the Impact Incubator and Health + Social Care teams, building cross-sector partnerships to achieve systemic change. 

Tara is leading our work to transform maternity services across the UK, including launching a new social investment fund

She spent two years managing our domestic abuse partnership with the Drive Partnership, developing opportunities for systems change within perpetrator provision, operationalising and scaling impactful service models, and securing funding to deliver the Partnership’s 2023–2026 strategy. 

In 2020, Tara worked on secondment with Independent Age, supporting the transfer and mobilisation of the Reconnections service which was originally developed as a social impact bond in Worcestershire.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Tara held roles across the non-profit and private sectors in the fields of charity finance, disability, and health informatics.
